26 generations of Tuscan innovation, from 1385 to today

Since the day Giovanni di Piero Antinori entered the Arte dei Vinattieri (1385), Cantine Antinori has fused centuries-old knowledge and winemaking research: selected clones of Sangiovese, fermentations in truncated conical wood, and delicato-toasted oak barriques. Today Marquis Piero, along with his daughters Albiera, Allegra and Alessia, guides Tenuta Tignanello, Badia a Passignano, Guado al Tasso and other estates from Val di Pesa to Maremma, for wines that embody luxury and territorial identity.

    • Iconic wines - Tignanello, Solaia, Brunello di Montalcino Pian delle Vigne, Cervaro della Sala, Guado al Tasso.
    • Leading grape varieties - Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malvasia and Grechetto for the high altitude whites.
    • Constant research - clonal selection, experimental micro-vinifications, "submerged cap" temperature control to extract pure aromas.
    • Sustainability - renewable energy, integrated water management and biodiversity projects in the approximately 3,000 ha of property.
