Ariola Vineyards and Wines

In 2003 Marcello Ceci founded the Ariola winery in the Val di Parma, continuing the winemaking vocation of these lands undertaken by the Forte Rigoni family in 1956.

Today Ariola is one of the most important wineries in the Parma area, with 70 hectares of vineyards at an altitude between 220 and 300 metres, where the most typical varieties of the area are planted, including lambrusco maestro, malvasia di Candia Aromatica, spergola and fortanina, and the international ones.

Thanks to silty-clayey soils and the optimal slope for good drainage, together with a slow and accurate fermentation, wines of particular gustatory richness, soft and round, come to life. The winery has combined the traditions of the past with research and innovation to best preserve the aromas of the grapes, further strengthening the bond between man and nature. The creation of prestigious labels has led Arioli to win many awards, for example Lambrusco Marcello 2010 has been reputed to be the best sparkling red wine in the world.
