Berlucchi

Berlucchi winery was a forerunner in the production of Metodo Classico sparkling wines in Franciacorta and today a symbol of Italian excellence around the world. Founded in 1955 by guido berlucchi together with his friend Giorgio Lanciani and winemaker Franco Ziliani with the goal of making sparkling wines "in the French way," as a result in 1961 the Franciacorta we all know today was born.

Today, the Ziliani family generation works and runs the winery carrying on the traditions of the past, with a touch of contemporary creativity and following the principles of sustainability, with a complete conversion to organic farming managed in an environmentally sustainable way. Adding to this production process is a unique terroir, Franciacorta, where the morainic soil and microclimate, made mild by the proximity of Lake Iseo and Val Camonica, create unique conditions for growing vines.

Another important element that makes these sparkling wines superb is the aging process, which is done inside quarries located 10 meters deep. Berlucchi is synonymous with quality Italian sparkling wine recognized throughout the world and Italian pride.
