The Clos de l'Oratoire, lying on the northeastern slope of Saint-Émilion, covers about 13 hectares. Its unique terroir, composed of Fronsac molasse with sandy and clay subsoil, is particularly suited to merlot, which accounts for 80% of the vines planted.
Meticulous care is taken throughout the year to pRéserver the exceptional qualities of this vineyard.
Vinification takes place exclusively in temperature-controlled wooden vats. Wood, a noble and living material, blends perfectly with the wine, allowing it to reveal all its richness of color and TASTING NOTES.
Each vat is treated individually according to its characteristics, with moderate temperatures and very slow punching down, scrupulously respecting the raw material.
