The Cecchi winery was founded in 1893 thanks to Luigi Cecchi who with enthusiasm and entrepreneurial ability managed to create a brand of national excellence, located in the Chianti area, known and appreciated all over the world. Over the years the family has experimented with new vines by combining innovation with tradition, also expanding to San Giminiano and Umbria in the Montefalco area.

Today it is the children who maintain the precious inherited experience, focusing attention on production sustainability and local tradition, making wines that express the territory of origin with Sangiovese vines, but also with international varieties, such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The headquarters in Castellina in Chianti and the vineyards located in the main areas of Tuscany favor the production of the region's symbolic wines, such as Chianti Classico DOCG, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Morellino di Scansano DOCG. Wines that arise from continuous research, united by respect for the land and environmental sustainability, to obtain even the slightest margins for improvement.
