    Founded in 1982 by the intuition of Ludovico Antinori, the tenuta dell'ornellaia transforms Bolgheri's wild landscape into haute couture wine. Sandy, pebbly soils caressed by sea breezes, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc, and petit verdot vines grown with sustainable rigor: the result is an elegance that has won over palates around the world and continues today under the leadership of the Frescobaldi family.
