From generation to generation, the Fuchs family has been cultivating and working the vines since 1922 with founder Henry. The winery, based in ribeauvillé, is now in its fourth generation, led by Paul Fuchs. It covers 10 hectares of vine land and is spread over a well-drenched, dry terrain that allows for optimal grape ripening and the production of wines that know how to express the terroir along with the winery's philosophy. Henry Fuchs meticulously researches the best sugar and taste-olfactory balance of its products to offer high quality, fresh and balanced wines with the typical Alsatian character. The entire production process is conducted with the utmost respect for nature. The entire production is conducted under a certified organic regime. Vine cultivation does not use aggressive artificial herbicides. Harvesting is by hand, the grapes are then gently pressed to extract only the best juice, without stressing the berries. The first sedimentation occurs by natural precipitation, allowing natural clarification of the must, which is then fermented almost entirely without the addition of yeast. Man's interventions are kept to a minimum, to obtain products of unique purity and elegance, expressing the high wine quality of Alsace and of this particularly suited grand cru area.
