Four generations among Colli Berici and Garganega lands

Founded in 1928 in the old house in Selva di Montebello, theCavazza winery guards nearly a century of family passion. From the limestone slopes of the Colli Berici to the volcanic hills of Gambellara, each label comes from vineyards tended row by row, amid ancient dry stone walls and breezes sweeping through the valleys of Vicenza.

    • Distinctive lines - Cicogna (cru from clay soils), Selva (fruit of historic vigna) and Colli berici selections.
    • Signature grape varieties - pure garganega, Tai Rosso, Carmenère, Cabernet and the rare sparkling Durello.
    • Cellar style - manual harvests, separate vinifications and aging in French oak barriques to extract elegance without losing freshness.
    • Awards - Berliner Wine Trophy Gold (Cicogna Cabernet 2016), AWC Vienna Silver (Creari Gambellara Classico 2017) and WineHunter Award Rosso (Cicogna Merlot 2016).
    • Vicenza food pairings - baccalà alla vicentina, sopressa with soft polenta, risotto with tastasal and Monte Veronese cheese.
    • Green attitude - natural grassing, protection of biodiversity on terraces and responsible management of water resources.
