BOUQUET:
The fragrances of this wine are as assertive as they are characteristic; tomato leaf, kiwi and verbena press on followed by white grapefruit and bread crust.

TASTING NOTES:
The palate is fruity and pleasantly soft, supported by a lively freshness and a definite minerality that lingers on the finish.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

The vineyards are located among the plains and slopes of the province of Gorizia, at an average altitude of 60 m a.s.l. A small portion of the crushed grapes (15%), benefits from a short cold maceration, avoiding contact with oxygen. The juice obtained from the soft pressing of the grapes is left to decant for 24-48 hours. Alcoholic fermentation, conducted at 18-20°C for 15 days, then begins on clear must. Vinification is carried out in steel tanks, keeping the wine at low temperatures, thus avoiding malolactic fermentation. After fermentation, the wine rests for 4 months on the noble lees, which are regularly put in suspension.
