The story of this drink dates back to 2019 when, after several years of research, the market welcomed the first bottle produced by this company led by Natalie Chiu and Charlie Winkworth-Smith. However, the real origin of this idea has to be sought much further back, several years earlier, when this coppia-who met during their doctoral studies in TASTING NOTES Chemistry at the University of Nottingham-went to an upscale restaurant to celebrate their birthdays. On that occasion, where wine pairing captured much of the attention with explanations and anecdotes from the sommelier, Natalie could not fully enjoy the experience because of her intolerance to wine. That moment was the seed of what has now established itself as one of the most original alternatives to alcohol, where Natalie (who has been drinking tea since childhood) puts her knowledge of this age-old beverage into practice.

As the name suggests, Saicho Jasmine Sparkling Tea is made from green tea leaves grown in Fuding, China, hand-picked and cold infused for 24 hours. This step in the process is very similar to wine, since, as with grapes, the low temperatures are able to extract the most delicate and complex TASTING NOTES. Finally, Saicho Jasmine Sparkling Tea is balanced, balancing sweetness and acidity, and reaches its final touch with bubbles.
