Powerful and mouthwatering, it is enhanced by woody and empyreumatic notes (toast and hazelnut) that give it a character-filled flavor profile. The finish is persistent on fruity and roasted notes.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Terroir Volcanique represents the perfect symbiosis between the environment that characterizes Martinique (lush vegetation of great diversity, a particular ecosystem, fertile soils, tropical climate, the pure water rich in minerals and filtered by volcanic rocks) and J.M's production philosophy, which involves the use of a typical Creole, copper, double-column still followed by a 3-year aging in 200-liter American oak barrels, new or used (which have benefited from two types of toasting, intense and extreme).
The small distillery north of Martinique Island produces mainly three varieties of cane: Canne Roseau, Canne Blue and Canne Rouge.
With the reality founded in the late 18th century by Antoine Leroux-Préville, which has the particularity of creating its own cane production plans: grafted from a node, each foot grows for eight weeks in the nursery before being planted for four or five years. A single harvest is then made each year from February to the end of June.
