DESCRIPTION:
It was created using well water from the distillery called Tobar na Ba Bàine (which in Gaelic means something like "the well of the pale cow." This version takes inspiration from the style of the old single malts of the Hebrides, that is, malt with a balanced and not too aggressive peatiness.

Isle of Raasay Hebridean Single Malt is a single malt Scotch whisky created from a combination of peated and unpeated malts aged for a minimum of 3 years in a combination of first-use ex-rye whiskey casks, ex-Bordeaux red wine casks and virgin Chinkapin oak casks. At the end of the maturation period, the single malt torbato was blended with the non-torbato single malt and bottled in-house in 26,000 total bottles at 46.4% vol. without being cold filtered and natural color in a beautiful worked glass bottle.

COLOR:
Amber yellow.

AROMA:
The nose initially greets us with notes of sea smoke, later the smoke becomes oilier and notes of cherries, cinnamon and cereals arrive with hints of peach and oak.

TASTING NOTES:
The palate greets us with more mineral torbato than on the nose, then salted caramel, apple, lemon zest and cereal with a slight hint of ash.

Medium/long finish, the peat smoke is well integrated, we have notes of black pepper, salted caramel, toasted oak and citrus.
