FOOD PAIRINGS:
A versatile wine, suitable for accompanying both first courses with structured sauces and main courses of white and rosso meat. Also excellent with aged cheeses, it is worth trying with mixed boiled meats.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
A truly special grape variety, the result of a cross between barbera and nebbiolo made in Turin back in 1938 by Professor Dalmasso, intent on creating a grape that could combine the characteristics of the two most prized varieties in the region: this is how albarossa was born. That of Castello di Neive, produced under Piedmont DOC regulations, is characterized by the great range of aromas on the nose, modern and fruity, a prelude to a truly exciting and satisfying drink. The grapes vinify and mature for 18 months in both steel and wood, then age for a further 6 months in bottle. A truly transversal Albarossa, capable of summing up the great terroir of Piedmont in a single sip.
