This Müller Thurgau by Elena Walch manifests great character, personality and elegance, a typical example of how the uniqueness of a terroir, combined with the climate and work, with very high professionalism, in the vineyard and cellar can give life to fine wines; this is essentially his philosophy, that wine should be the only expressive capacity of its land and that the latter should be worked according to the trappings of sustainability so that it can be transmitted, intact, to future generations.
Delicate straw yellow, it gives off decisive mineral notes, ripe white fruit, citrus fruits and aromatic herbs. Definitely fresh and savory on the palate, with good alcohol content and discreet persistence.
On an octopus salad or with a plate of linguine with scampi, with veal cutlets or, why not, with Sauris ham.
