ADDITIONAL NOTES:
The Bianco "Villa Antinori" from the Antinori winery is a fresh and light white wine produced in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the province of Florence. This label is obtained from a blend of Trebbiano, Malvasia, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio grapes plus a small part of Riesling Renano from vineyards located at different altitudes and characterized by optimal exposures. The vines are grown using the espalier method with guyot and spurred cordon pruning on medium-textured soils characterized by calcareous-clayey soils. The winery, family-run for 26 generations now, is one of the most important and most appreciated in the world for the production of fine wines of the highest quality, synonymous with the history and tradition of Italian wine.
The "Villa Antinori" Bianco di Antinori is produced with carefully selected and hand-picked grapes generally around the third week of August. The bunches subsequently reach the cellar where they are softly pressed and then cooled to a temperature of about 10 °C to favor natural clarification and carry out the alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures, never exceeding 18 °C, in stainless steel tanks for a few weeks. This is how the racking takes place, after which the wine remains aged for a few months in stainless steel containers before being bottled and finally being ready to be put on the market.
