Definitely an important meal wine, particularly suitable with roasts, game and spicy local cheeses.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
The Rosso Riserva wine "Cuvée Flora" is one of those products to which Girlan devotes special attention, standing at the top of the quality achieved by the winery in Cornaiano. This is a blend with an international profile, in which cabernet sauvignon and merlot come together in a very pleasant sip, with variegated and complex aromas on the nose, evolving minute by minute. This is a bottle in which structure and finesse go hand in hand, as is not always supposed to happen in a wine.
This Girlan "Cuvée Flora" is a Rosso Riserva that comes from the happy union of two international vi-tigns that, often, go well with each other, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines of these varieties grow in vineyards with a hilly profile, located near Cornaiano, at an elevation between 450 and 500 meters above sea level. The terroir here is marked by a subsoil in which sandy composition abounds. The grapes, expertly selected by Girlan's team, after destemming and crushing, alcoholically ferment in steel, also carrying out malolactic fermentation. This is followed by aging, carried out first for 20 months in barrique and then, after bottling, for a further 8 months in glass.
The Rosso Riserva wine "Cuvée Flora" presents itself on visual examination with a typically ruby color, deep and compact. The nose is dominated by balsamic and Mediterranean notes, enhanced by touches that, as the minutes pass, become more spicy, even hinting at some herbs. In the mouth it is full-bodied, structured, with a full and rounded sip, characterized by a pleasant tannic texture, perfectly-worked. It closes with a long persistent finish. A rosso with which the Girlan winery confirms, once again, the absolute quality of the products that are part of the "Selections" line.
