Lugana "Brolettino" is perhaps the most representative wine of the Ca' dei Frati winery, a winery that has been able to make the most of the Lake Garda area and which has brought about a great enhancement of Turbiana, the vine from which Lugana takes shape.
Ca' dei Frati is perhaps the first winery to have brought and spread Lugana outside the regional borders thanks to the skilful hand of the Dal Cero family who are, today, among the main protagonists of the Italian wine sphere. A treasure which they have been able to preserve and improve in over 70 years of history and which is offered to us here by the Lugana "Brolettino", a white with a great aging capacity which is defined by many, from harvest to harvest, as the most success of the Turbiana.
It comes from calcareous and clayey vineyards and follows a vinification partly in steel and partly in barrique and an aging in barrique for 10 months; period in which the "Brolettino" of Ca' dei Frati takes on structure, softness, persuasion and longevity; period in which it develops the typical notes of ripe fruit, peaches, yellow apples, with final nuances that oscillate between rose and balsamic.
