TASTING NOTES:Powerful and deep with notes of fruit ( strawberries and cherries ) and hints of dark chocolate, caramel, and a hint of cinnamon.

Finish:Medium long and dry with roasted malt aftertaste.

This is the first edition of Arran whiskies finished in special, distinctive barrels.Arran Amarone Finish is left to age for 8 years in traditional oak barrels, then finished in highly selected Amarone wine barrels sourced directly from Italy. Arran's Master Distiller, James MacTaggart, has carefully monitored this single malt throughout its finish to ensure the perfect balance between Arran's classico sweet-fruity and Amarone's gifts. The end result is a single malt full of charm, quality and complexity.
