Ideal paired with red, important meat dishes and medium or long aged cheeses, but it can also pleasantly accompany conversations at the end of a meal.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Following tradition, Barolo Mirafiore is made by blending wines from different vineyards. The choice of vineyards may vary depending on the characteristics of the VINTAGE. Blending takes place as soon as malolactic fermentation is complete. The long maceration and reduced racking during aging allows the development of tertiary aromas to be anticipated even before bottling.

Fermentation is traditional, carried out in stainless steel vats, lasting 12-15 days at a controlled temperature. This is followed by the wine remaining on the skins at "submerged cap" for an additional 30-40 days, to optimize the extraction of polyphenolic substances.

Mirafiore's Barolo Mirafiore DOCG belongs to the "riserva" series, produced exclusively in the best vintages and resulting in wines that sublimate the qualities of the Nebbiolo grape, wines therefore that, although wonderful even now, boast great aging potential.
