The grapes come from an area of only 107 hectares, known as Pentagono d'Oro (Golden Pentagon), between the towns of San Pietro di Barbozza, Santo Stefano and Saccol, in the municipality of Valdobbiadene. The soil, formed more than 5 million years ago as a result of the uplift of the seabed, is composed of sandstone and moraine, rich in precious microelements that give the grapes unique characteristics then transmitted to the wine.
The vigna grow luxuriantly on the steep hills that draw striking natural embroideries, a distinctive symbol of these lands recognized and admired worldwide.
