This is a wine with a brilliant ruby red color, enriched with vermilion highlights.

BOUQUET:
The nose opens with fruity scents, including raspberry, blackcurrant and pomegranate, enriched by floral notes of violet and rose, which then give way to spicy nuances of white pepper, anise and clove.

TASTING NOTES:
In the mouth reveals a dense and elegant tannic texture and a full body. The finish is very long and warm, with a spicy component that stands out over the intense fruity notes.

SERVING TEMPERATURE:
between 16 and 18°C

FOOD PAIRINGS:

Perfect in the company of a succulent mixed grill of meat, such as with a duck risotto.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Frescobaldi's Brunello di Montalcino Castelgiocondo comes from the vineyards of the estate of the same name, located in Montalcino, Tuscany.

It is made from pure Sangiovese grapes, scrupulously selected and hand-picked during the first week of October. Fermentations took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with frequent pumping over especially during the early stages. The wine then underwent maturation in wood, where it was allowed to mature and balance. CastelGiocondo brunello is ready for release 5 years after the harvest and only after further bottle aging.
