BOUQUET:
A dense aromatic intensity of noble woods, coffee beans, tobacco is well delineated by delicately scented puffs of blackberry and berry jam.

TASTING NOTES:
Warm and with precise tannic firmness as it runs through the palate, it closes with pleasant balsamic returns.

SERVING TEMPERATURE:
between 18 and 20 °C

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Soil: hilly viticultural area of the estate, with low to moderate slopes. The soils are developed on different types of sediments, from Pliocene marine clayey sands, deep soils with abundant stones and limestone, to blue-gray clays. Soils, the latter, moderately deep, mineral soils that tend to retain moisture.
Training system: spurred cordon - sapling Banfi
Planting density: 2400 - 5500 cp/ha.

Fermentation: temperature-controlled (27-29°) in combined steel and French oak vats Horizon
Aging: 80% in 60 and 90 hl. French oak barrels and 20% in 350 l. French oak barriques for 2 years
A rich and elegant brunello, as much in structure as in olfactory expression. Bright ruby red with garnet-colored highlights, the nose is sweet and fruity, hints of fresh red fruit stand out, combining perfectly with more complex notes of licorice and pipe tobacco. The structure is powerful and the palate is pleasantly enveloped by a consistent tannic grain well balanced by pleasant acidity. Great aging potential and persistence.
