The VINTAGE that makes the difference

Millesimato wines are born (for at least85%) from grapes of the same vintage, shown on the label. This is the producers' choice when a VINTAGE expresses a special balance: they forgo "cutting" between several vintages to let the climate, soil and work in the vigna speak directly.

    • Metodo classico - refermentation in the bottle and prolonged aging on the yeasts:
      • Trentodoc Millesimato: resting on the yeasts minimum 24 months, taut and precise profile.
      • Franciacorta Millesimato: wine from a quality vintage, at least 30 months sui yeasts ( Reserves go up to 60 months).
      • Alta langa DOCG: always millesimato by specification, at least 30 months sui yeasts; Piedmontese elegance at altitude.
    • Martinotti/Charmat - refermentation in autoclave for a fruitier, crisper style:
      • Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Millesimato: vintage selections with Glera as the protagonist and great verticality.
    • How to read the label:
      • VINTAGE - indicates vintage; useful for comparing different vintages of the same wine.
      • Dosage - Brut, Extra Brut, Dosage Zero: less sugar, greater perception of structure and minerality.
      • Time on yeasts - longer period gives creaminess, fineness of perlage and complexity.
      • GRAPE - Chardonnay and Pinot Noir dominate in the Metodo Classico; Glera defines the Valdobbiadene millesimates.
      • AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS - a useful shortcut to identify the most highly regarded labels from guides and competitions.

From the high-altitude bubbles of Trentino to the hills of Lombardy and Piedmont to the heroic elevations of Valdobbiadene, millesimato wines offer a clear look at terroir and vintage. Choose your style from Brut, Extra Brut or Dosage Zero, evaluate months on the yeasts and BOTTLE SIZE: also in Magnum evolution is more harmonious and scenic.
