Area of production
One third of the grapes chosen for this extraordinary wine come from the "Gir-lan" subzone on the hills of Oltradige, at an elevation of 450 to 500 m above sea level, from various vineyards between 10 and 15 years old. Two-thirds, on the other hand, come from the Bassa Atesina - Cortaccia. The combination of the gravelly to clayey, mineral-rich soils of production give this wine a unique character.
Vinification
Harvesting is done manually in small transport containers to the winery. After a short maceration and whole cluster crushing, destemming by natural sedimentation of the must takes place. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats. Maturation on fine lees in stainless steel tanks without malolactic fermentation for 8 months.
