BOUQUET:
The complex bouquet recalls notes of red fruits, more specifically cherry, sour cherry and black cherry, which blend with hints of aromatic herbs, including sage and lavender. Intriguing spicy notes reminiscent of cocoa bean.

TASTING NOTES:
The entrance into the mouth is voluminous, energetic. Excellent red fruit retention; freshness and acidity are linked to raspberry and currant. Spicy notes envelop the palate. Good persistence. Young fresh and silky tannins.

SERVING TEMPERATURE:
between 16 and 18°C

Located in a historic area for the production of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and considered one of the most vocated, Calimaia lies on the soft hills between Val di Chiana and Val d'Orcia. The vineyards, arranged around the winery's hillside, enjoy an elevation of 300 meters above sea level and are diversified by exposure and soil type, allowing each of the vines grown to be enhanced.
