The magnificent castel ringberg estate, located across from Lago di caldaro, is elena walch's most important cru. Twenty hectares of exceptional terroir that she has been able to respect and enhance, succeeding in turning these peculiarities into ever-increasing success. Thanks to the perfect fusion of farming traditions and winery innovation, she continues to be a forge of wonderful wines, as her products tell of history, places and emotions. Like this riesling with a strong personality and captivating taste-olfactory sensations.
Pale yellow in color but very bright, it smells of intense varietal notes of ripe pear and hydrocarbons, lime, chalk and herbs. It impresses the palate for its decisive sapidity, excellent freshness and perfect taste-olfactory correspondence. In the closing, the citrus returns.
Wonderful as an aperitif, it goes well with seafood (oysters) and shellfish, spicy cured meats, fried foods, semi-seasoned cheeses and risottos with vegetables.
