Cardhu comes from one of Speyside's oldest and most iconic distilleries, which has stood on a hillside near the River Spey for two centuries. Cardhu 12 Year Old, the brand's most iconic, is exceptionally smooth and silky, distinguished by its honeyed notes and subtle fruitiness. Cardhu's reputation was forged thanks to the vision and tenacity of two extraordinary women: Helen Cumming, co-founder of the distillery in 1811 and a pioneer among women in the world of whisky; and her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth, known as the "Queen of Whisky."
