The estate is located in northwestern Italy, in the heart of the Langhe, on those vineyard landscapes recognized, in 2014, as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for the outstanding universal value of the agricultural landscape. The House is located on one of the world's most famous hills, renowned for the richness of the land and its vocation for wine production, and for man's skillful intervention in preserving and enhancing nature's gifts.
The vineyards cover 25 hectares of the property, and are located in the communes of Serralunga d'alba, most of them in the vicinity of the winery, and in the subzone of Fontanafredda and Barolo, on land that already belonged to the owners of the estate when it was founded in 1878 at an altitude between 300 and 480 meters above sea level with southern and southwestern exposure.
Cultivation is done with the utmost respect for the soil, without using chemicals and according to the rules of the organic farming method.
Casa E. di Mirafiore owns two of the best crus in the Barolo DOCG appellation area, Lazzarito and Paiagallo.
