The estate is located in northwestern Italy, in the heart of the Langhe, on those vineyard landscapes recognized, in 2014, as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for the outstanding universal value of the agricultural landscape. The house is located in one of the most famous hills in the world, renowned for the riches of the land and its vocation for the production of wine, and for the skilful intervention of man for the conservation and enhancement of the gifts of nature.
The vineyards extend for 25 hectares of property, and are located in the municipalities of Serralunga d'Alba, most of which are near the winery, and in the sub-area of Fontanafredda and Barolo, on land that already belonged to the owners of the estate when it was founded in 1878 at an altitude between 300 and 480 meters above sea level with southern and southwest exposure.
The cultivation takes place with the utmost respect for the soil, without using chemical products and according to the rules of the organic cultivation method.
Casa E. di Mirafiore owns two of the best crus of the Barolo DOCG denomination area, the Lazzarito and Paiagallo.
