Col Vetoraz

The Col Vetoraz winery is located on the homonymous hill, in Santo Stefano, in the heart of the Valdobbiadene DOCG. The Miotto family settled on the highest point of the Monte Cartizze area in 1838, at almost 400 meters above sea level, where he developed the cultivation of vines right from the start. The land has seen the passage of the sea and for this reason it has deep stratifications that give character and aroma to the wines. 

In 1993 Francesco Miotto together with the agronomist Paolo De Bortoli and the oenologist Loris Dall'Acqua gave birth to the Col Vetoraz winery and together they still generate quality and excellent wines today. 

The cellar, thanks to the various awards obtained, represents a quality for the Valdobbiadene area and for the production of Valdobbiadene DOCG and Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze DOCG. Col Vetoraz aims to express and enhance the typicality of the terroir, characterized by the grapes, the microclimate and the many chemical-physical peculiarities of the land, the exposures and the slopes of the land.
