Conti d'Arco

The name Conti D'Arco derives from the noble family that owned the medieval castle, which from the cliff of Arco dominates the vigna of the beautiful valley between Lake Garda and the Brenta Dolomites.

The history is that of the noble lineage of the Counts of Arco. The names Odorico, Vinciguerra, Prospero, and Andrea d'Arco have been linked over the centuries to events bordering on legend. Always close to other illustrious families, such as the Gonzaga and often advisers to emperors, many of the conti d'Arco were cultured and refined gentlemen; Nicolò was a poet and humanist, Giorgio a lover of music and a friend of Mozart.

In the splendid castle and Renaissance palaces of the village, there was never a shortage of deep, cool cellars called "caneve," in which to store the excellent wine collected from the tithes of the contado.

The Conti d'Arco line includes a series of DOC wines from Trentino, selected in the most suitable areas of the REGION by winemakers who follow every stage of the production process, from vineyard to bottle. An area with ideal soil and climate, Trentino also has a renowned sparkling wine tradition.
