Marquis Frescobaldi

The history of the Frescobaldi winery dates back to the Middle Ages and for this reason it is considered one of the most historic, important and well-known in Italy and in the world. The Frescobaldi family settled in Florence in the 13th century, immediately becoming a prestigious merchant with economic, political and cultural influences on the city and, at the same time, establishing itself as one of the major wineries in Tuscany.

Today, after 700 years and 30 generations, they have a total of 1200 hectares of vineyards located in prestigious estates with historic homes and ancient castles, which contain all the glorious history of the greatest Tuscan wines, such as Chianti Classico, Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino. The ability of the cellar is to bring out the diversity and uniqueness of the Tuscan land for each wine, always with respect for the environment and in an eco-sustainable way. The wines of the Frescobaldi family are the expression of ancient traditions consolidated over the centuries which, generation after generation, they have been able to renew while always maintaining a high level of quality.
