The Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva Vigna "castel ringberg" presents itself with decisive shades of deep garnet red.

BOUQUET:
Its rich bouquet ranges from complex aromas of berries, blackberries, blueberries and plums accompanied by spicy notes with tobacco leaves, cloves and a touch of bitter chocolate.

TASTING NOTES:
The palate reveals a strong fruity savoriness, soft tannins and a good interplay of acidity. A full-bodied wine with an intense and persistent finish.

SERVING TEMPERATURE:
Between 16 and 18 °C.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

The Renaissance Vigna "castel ringberg," erected by the Habsburg dynasty in 1620, towers over Lake Caldaro and is nestled in the undulating green of its rows. A "Vigna" is an additional geographical mention; the word describes a single vineyard that is strictly defined and cartographically limited. The estate, hilly in places and steep in places, lies on the ancient crossroads of three soil types between 330 and 400 meters above sea level: to the west, the vineyard is accompanied by the dolomite rock of the Mendola, whose steep slopes are composed of 30,000-year-old crushed stone from the Adige River. In the central and southern zones, the larger areas are composed of very light limestone residue soils that provide aeration for the roots of the vines. The mildness of Lago di caldaro, married with strong afternoon winds, create a secco microclimate and allow strongly nature-friendly work in the vigna. These special geological characteristics, combined with the ventilated microclimate, result in mineral wines of great elegance and refinement.
