The wine shows an elegant and fruity bouquet of black cherry, violet, white pepper and a hint of bitter chocolate.

The Per Sé Kalterersee Classico Superiore from elena walch in Trentino Alto Adige shows a brilliant ruby red color in the glass. On the nose, this elena walch red wine re-sails all kinds of plums, black currants, mulberries, blackberries and morello cherries. As if this were not already impressive, aging in small wooden barrels adds crispness, whole nut chocolate and roasted almonds.
This velvety rosso wine is balanced and complex on the palate. Thanks to its balanced fruit acidity, the Per Sé Kalterersee Classico Superiore flatters with a soft mouthfeel without lacking juicy vivacity. On the finish, this young rosso wine from the Trentino-South Tyrol wine region delights with good length. Once again, there are notes of plum and mulberry. On the finish, mineral notes from the limestone-dominated ter- rees come together.
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Vernatsch. Only immaculate grape materia-le was brought in for this wonderfully balanced single-varietal wine by elena walch. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Trentino-Alto Adige. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into the limestone soils. After ma-no harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press. Here they are carefully selected and sorted. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel and small wood tanks at controlled tempera-tures. Fermentation is followed by maturation for several months in French and Slavonian barrels.
