ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Lugana "Brolettino" is perhaps the most representative wine of the Ca' dei Frati winery, a winery that has been able to make the most of the Lake Garda territory and that has brought great value to Turbiana, the grape variety from which Lugana takes its shape.
Ca' dei Frati is perhaps the first winery to have brought and spread Lugana outside the regional borders thanks to the skilful hand of the Dal Cero family who are, today, among the main protagonists of the Italian wine-making sphere. A treasure that they have been able to guard and improve in over 70 years of history and that is offered to us here by Lugana "Brolettino," a white wine with a great capacity for aging that is defined by many, from vintage to vintage, as the most successful synthesis of Turbiana.
It comes from calcareous and clayey vineyards and follows a vinification partly in steel and partly in barrique and an aging in barrique for 10 months; a period in which Ca' dei Frati's "Brolettino" takes on structure, softness, persuasiveness and longevity; a period in which it develops the typical notes of ripe fruit, peaches, yellow apples, with final nuances that oscillate between rose and balsamic.
