BOUQUET:
On the nose, Glarea is reminiscent of ripe banana fruit, dried apricot and pineapple.

TASTING NOTES:
On the palate, it is fresh, juicy, with some fullness and a very firm minerality. The freshness ends in a long, harmonious finish.

SERVING TEMPERATURE:
Serve at 9-11 °C

FOOD PAIRINGS:
It is very versatile, excellent with tasty first courses, from vegetable minestrone to spaghetti with clams; exceptional with tasty fish dishes or white meats with delicate flavors; also exquisite with pizza, try the one with buffalo mozzarella.

• soil: the vineyards are located on the alluvial cone BOTTLE SIZE formed by the Höllenbach stream, in a soil rich in limestone gravel located on the first slopes of the highest peaks of the Mendola, including the Roen (at 2116 m).

• climate: cold winds that blow from the Höllental valley towards the bottom of the Etsch valley, thanks to their weight, accumulate in these very vineyards. The low-lying hillside location and proximity to the valley floor, therefore, create a microclimate whereby the Glarea vineyards are very warm during the day and subject to the accumulation of cold air at night, especially in the late and early morning hours, thus benefiting from extraordinary temperature changes.
