PERFUME:

The nose establishes a fine balance between one full-bodied rum and another with irresistible velvety fruitiness, with hints of lightly smoked spices and toasted wood, with perfectly ripe and elegant tropical fruit.

TASTE:

Woody, persuasive notes settle on the palate first, then a small, full-bodied, coppery hint begins a spicier buildup, with candied, aged cane juice offering a lovely chewiness, as vegetal as it is confectionery. The finish is soft and mouthwatering as nougat, with brief pistachio accents.

PRODUCTION METHOD:

The juice from the first pressing is distilled using our traditional copper still. The rum was matured in a combination of new French oak and ex-cognac barrels for a minimum of 6 years, resulting in a rum with extraordinary complexity.
