ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Bianco "Villa Antinori" from the Antinori winery is a fresh, light white wine produced in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the province of Florence. This label is made from a blend of Trebbiano, Malvasia, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Grigio grapes plus a small part of Rhine Riesling from vignae located at different altitudes and distinguished by optimal exposures. The vines are grown using the espalier method with guyot and spurred cordon pruning on medium-textured soils characterized by limestone-clay soils. The winery, which has been family-run for 26 generations now, is one of the most important and most appreciated wineries in the world for the production of fine wines of the highest quality, synonymous with the history and tradition of Italian wine.
Antinori's "Villa Antinori" Bianco is made from carefully selected grapes harvested by hand generally around the third decade of August. The clusters subsequently reach the winery where they are softly pressed and then cooled to a temperature of about 10 °C to promote natural clarification and carry out alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures, never above 18 °C, in stainless steel tanks for several weeks. This is followed by racking, after which the wine is aged for several months in stainless steel containers before being bottled and finally ready for release.
