DESCRIPTION:

Spelt is considered the oldest wheat cultivated by man, used since ancient times for bread production. Rustic, hardy and undemanding, it grows well on poor and mountainous soils, adapting perfectly to natural cultivation. Light roasting of the seed intensifies its straw color and preserves its authentic, original characteristics. From its unmistakable aroma comes a distillate that expresses all the purity and Alpine tradition of the valle d'aosta.

CHARACTERISTICS:
Juniper note predominates, accompanied by intense aromatic nuances of local alpine herbs. The taste is dry and full, well balanced and pleasantly complex, with resinous and floral accents typical of mountain botanicals.

TASTING:
Clear and bright to the eye, the nose is distinguished by the authentic cereal aroma. On the palate it is dry and warm, but elegantly softened by a delicate aromatic sweetness. Drink neat to appreciate its purity or as a fine base for cocktails.
