APPEARANCE: Visually, Barbaresco Bordini displays an intense and bright ruby red color.

BOUQUET: On the nose, it offers evolving aromatic complexity with blackcurrant, raspberry, dried fruit notes, and delicate hints of black pepper and ginger.

TASTING NOTES: On the palate, it has a full body, sustained by vivid freshness and soft tannins. The finish is persistent with spicy undertones.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: between 16 and 18°C

FOOD PAIRINGS: Barbaresco Bordini pairs well with red meats and game, such as pigeon breast in red fruit sauce. It is also excellent with aged cheeses, mushroom risottos, and tajarin with meat ragù. For regional pairings, it enhances tajarin with white truffle and "finanziera piemontese". Nationally, it complements Tuscan bean soup with croutons. Its structure highlights dishes rich in delicate spices.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Barbaresco Bordini by La Spinetta is a red wine made from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Langhe region. It stands out for its structured and complex style, balancing freshness and refined tannins. Aging in oak barriques shapes its elegant character and remarkable aging potential. This Barbaresco expresses the typical qualities of Piedmont and offers a refined, precise tasting experience.

Where does it come from

Barbaresco Bordini originates from the Bordini vineyard in Neive, at an altitude of 270 meters. The calcareous soil, rich in minerals, along with the continental climate and temperature fluctuations, support the slow ripening of the Nebbiolo grapes. Sunny exposure and alpine breezes promote the development of complex aromas. This part of the Langhe is renowned for great red wines and maintains a deep-rooted winemaking tradition.
