ADDITIONAL NOTES:

A wine that, as its name suggests, recalls and is inspired by the banks of one of Italy's most famous and distinctive rivers: the Brenta. Maculan's Brentino is made from grapes that are 55% represented by the Merlot grape variety, then Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are added for 45%. The vineyard location is on the best hills, in terms of exposure in the DOC Breganze area, north of Vicenza. The location and soil type is characterized by the good presence of volcanic-derived soil and therefore rich in minerality. Careful preparation involves at first a careful harvest with manual selection of the bunches, then fermentation in steel tanks to preserve the freshness of the wine. Finally, the aging process, which is carried out for half of the wine in steel tanks for one year and the other half in French oak barriques for one year. A wine that perfectly complements first courses with game sauces, roasts and grilled red meat.
