It can be called the younger, spirited, immediate, less tannic and demanding brother of the brunello. Its fruity, elegant profile and streamlined, dynamic sip make it immediately ready to drink, although it can age quietly for several years. It is a rosso that possesses great pliability in table pairings, where it can accompany tasty first courses with game sauces or grilled meats.
