Ca' dei Frati Ronchedone shows a deep ruby red color to the eye.

BOUQUET:
The nose is very rich with notes of rosso fruits, macerated blueberries, marasca cherries under spirits, balsamic and jammy hints.

TASTING NOTES:
On the palate it is powerful and incisive, clean, savory, with nice acidity a sign of the Benaco soil.

SERVING TEMPERATURE:
between 18 and 20 °C

FOOD PAIRINGS:
Ideal paired with red meats with medium and long cooking preparations, game birds and fur, aged cheeses, rich pastas and soups with meat.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
In the area where the first morainic hills rise, red wines of considerable depth and power are also obtained, and ronchedone is an absolute demonstration of this.
Strongly desired from the moment it was felt that certain areas and certain microclimates were suitable for obtaining a wine like this. Marzemino, Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet make it a wine that cannot go unnoticed.
The grapes come from a calcareous clayey, silty and sandy soil type. The training system is simple Guyot and spurred cordon. The yield per hectare is 80 quintals.
Vinification takes place in steel tanks. Aging and evolution is in barrique for 14 months, followed by 10 months in bottle
