Crearo is an affirmation that exploring new expressions from a fine place is as important as maintaining tradition. In 1997 during a walk through the Conca d'Oro vineyard, Giancarlo along with his cousins decided to break with history by asking their fathers to dedicate a portion of this family cru vineyard to cabernet franc. What seemed like madness at the time, turned out to be a far-sighted choice: Crearo has become a head-turning wine, recognized among wine experts and enthusiasts at the international level. A blend of Corvina, Cabernet Franc and Oseleta from the Conca d'Oro aged in oak offers a velvety rosso with good structure and a rich bouquet that gains depth with time.
