Val di Suga

For the Val di Suga winery everything began in 1969, when a company acquired some farmlands north of Montalcino, and allocated them to forage production. These then, over the years, were slowly converted to vineyards and, also following several changes of ownership, in 1982 the production of wine officially began: the first label to be marketed was the "Brunello Riserva 1977". Since then, viticultural and oenological growth has been fast and has never stopped, so much so that Val di Suga has also distinguished itself on the Chinese market. Then, in 1994, the Angelini Group took over the winery's leadership; the latter gave new impetus to the winery, which has become increasingly award-winning and internationally recognized. Having put into production three different vignae, located on the three sides of the Montalcino hill, in the areas most suited to the production of brunello, has in fact allowed the winery to make an undisputed leap in quality and easily establish itself over the years.
