Scapegrace is the realization of the dream of two young men who met after one married the other's sister: their passion for Gin led them around bars and lounges, discussing what their distillate would be. Scapegrace Gin is distilled by hand in small batches: it is made from pure grain and infused with botanicals from around the world. An interesting peculiarity is the water that is used during the production process. In fact it is meteoric and retained for 80 years in the huge Southern Alps mountain range that runs along the west coast of the South Island as well as naturally filtered through underground rocks. All this results in a series of fresh gins, characterized by the perfect blend of classic juniper and citrus notes with floral and spicy hints.
