The Maculan winery was founded in 1947 in Breganze, at the behest of Giovanni Maculan, in a place particularly well-disposed to viticulture thanks to its position, at the foot of the Asiago plateau in the province of Vicenza. A place characterized by a mild climate and fertile soil, which favors the cultivation of various types of grapes, such as cabernet sauvignon, merlot, chardonnay, tai and vespaiolo, which make it possible to obtain high quality wines.
Today Fausto Maculan and his two daughters carry on the tradition and passion handed down from their grandfather and at the same time study and experiment to improve the quality of the wines produced and their image in the world.
Among the company's most delicious bottles, the Breganze DOC wines certainly stand out, typical of the territory of the homonymous country, including Vespaiolo, a fruity white wine with a delicate character and Torcolato, a passito with a sweet taste.
