Grappa Stravecchia emblematic of culture, care and the art of distilling. Obtained from the distillation in Bagnomaria in a discontinuous alembic of both red and white marcs. It is aged in small cherry, ash, oak and black locust barrels which each give their own characteristics of perfume, aroma, color and flavour. The aging time follows the rhythms of nature: 18 months pass from moon to moon.
The aroma becomes intense, becomes more ethereal and harmonious, the taste loses its initial angularity and is rounded to give an elegant and silky perception in the mouth. The color reaches a warm amber tone. The Master Distiller follows its maturation until the ideal blend is achieved and full harmony between wood and Grappa. Thus was born Diciotto Lune Marzadro, a refined Grappa for meditation.
