Located in the commune of Adro, in Franciacorta, the Contadi Castaldi winery represents the millenary history of a territory dedicated to exceptional agriculture, which supplied its fine products to kings and rich merchants. The "Contadi" were in fact none other than the medieval counties renowned for agricultural excellence, while the term "Castaldi" in the past indicated the lords to whom the government of those territories was entrusted. And it was from the renovation of a disused historic kiln within these noble terroirs that in the 1980s the Contadi Castaldi winery was born, which today has become one of the most important and appreciated wineries in the area for its ability to innovate and search for the most evocative vineyards.
