Myrtus communis is an evergreen shrub that grows wild in the Mediterranean scrub. In Sardinia, it finds its ideal habitat thanks to the unique climate that ensures the berries reach perfect ripeness, allowing for the creation—through proper infusion—of a delicious liqueur to be enjoyed after meals: the famous Myrtle Liqueur, with its unique, unmistakable, particularly austere, and deep aroma and flavor.

Today, "San Martino" Myrtle Liqueur has captured regional, national, and international markets.
