Fermentation takes place in French Allier oak barrels. At the end of fermentation, the wine is left on its lees (sur lie) and subjected to weekly bâtonnage for 6-8 months. The wine matures for 10 months in barrels and for a further 6 months in steel tanks on its lees.

APPEARANCE: The Chardonnay Riserva Vigna ‘Castel Ringberg’ has bright golden yellow notes.

BOUQUET: Its complex bouquet ranges from exotic fruits, including papaya, toasted almonds and a hint of dandelion honey and light toasting.

TASTING NOTES: On tasting, it impresses with its powerful, fresh and elegant structure, emphasising its mineral character and highlighting its creamy freshness and savouriness. Long, fresh finish.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: between 12 and 14°C

FOOD PAIRINGS: White meat, smoked salmon, and delicate mushroom dishes.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: The Chardonnay Riserva Vigna “Castel Ringberg”, produced in a strictly limited number of bottles, represents the excellence of the single vineyard. With a pure and essential style, this wine combines lively minerality and freshness with fruity notes and a creamy finish. The “Castel Ringberg” vineyard offers ideal conditions for an elegant and complex Chardonnay, aged in French oak barriques and then in the bottle, showing remarkable ageing potential.
